Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the time of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her professional debut at 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her through a TKO during the second round. At Invicta FC 21, she had her last fight for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to score a second-round TKO victory.
