Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the time of 14. She trained in boxing kickboxing BJJ, and wrestling. She made her professional debut at 18, at WCFC in a fight against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and subsequently went on a 3 fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents inside the first round of each fight. In the following fight, she was back at WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia lost to Aspen in a unanimous vote. This put a stain on the record of Ladd's amateur. Ladd returned from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record to 8-1. Aspen was signed to Invicta FC in 2015 to get her first professional fight. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her, securing a first-round TKO. Invicta 16 saw her go up to Bantamweight after winning her fight with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Her superior wrestling abilities has smashed McGill as she was able finish her in the third round with a TKO (elbows and punches). Aspen took on Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18 in the catchweight (138.1lb) in the event that Ladd was unable to reach her weight. In spite of this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. She finished her through a TKO during the second round. At Invicta FC 21, she had her last fight for the company. She beat Sijaraebanks via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She defeated Lina and then pounded her on the ground to score a second-round TKO victory. In her subsequent fight, she beat Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute she was awarded a bonus for the performance of the evening. Her first major fight came during her subsequent fight at UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd was victorious by a majority decision. The two fighters each received their Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd within just 16 seconds, which was enough in order to stop her winning streak. After a short break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya at UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she faced Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 to replace her fight. It was a unanimous decision against her.
