In the late 1990s she was more well-known for her character in the film Donnie Brasco, a crime drama. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953) is an American actress. She is well-known for playing Lieutenant Sheba from the 1978-1979 TV series Battlestar Galactica. She's the daughter and granddaughter of actors Gene Lockhart. The professional life of Lockhart began in the beginning. At age four, Lockhart appeared in the film T is for Tumbleweed. Oscar nominations were given to the short documentary. Her mother brought her to the film studio, where she was taught about the workings of the film industry. Lockhart has also been featured in many shows of Lassie. Her debut film came out as Dora in Jory in 1972. The Sixth Sense was a TV show that ran from 1972. At the age of 18 she played Joan Crawford, Joan's daughter. Joan was the last actress to appear on the show. Anne did not want the role of Laurie Strode in John Carpenter's Halloween, 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis later was the actor. Mr. Carpenter says that he would like her to play the role however she decided to turn the offer down. Anne does not remember being contact from John Carpenter nor being offered the job. There is a chance that one of Anne's agents rejected it on her account without telling her. Glen Larson sent her an preliminary draft of script for the role of a character on 1978's TV program Battlestar Galactica. The character was weak enough to warrant her acceptance of the part. Later Glen created a brand new character just for her with an even stronger character called Sheba. The Living Legend, the initial twenty-five pages she had already read it was immediately embraced. The program ran for one episode. Also, she starred alongside Desi Arnaz Jr. Melanie Griffith Robert Carradine, Desi Arnaz (son Desi Arnaz & Lucille ball) in Joyride in 1977. And she costarred with Michael Moriarty as The Dark Tower in 1987.
