In Los Angeles, Pop Smoke was killed during a house intruder. New York rapper 50 Cent was the executive producer for his posthumous debut studio album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon that was released on July 3rd on the 3rd of July, 2020. The album debuted at 1 on the Billboard 200, and all 19 tracks charted on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also produced many international top-10 singles, such as "For the Night" (featuring DaBaby and Lil Baby) and "What You Know Bout Love". Pop Smoke's sophomore studio album Faith was released by Republic Records one year later. Time listed her as one of the 2021 Entertainers Of The year, and Billboard called it Woman Of The years in 2022. 111112 Billboard presented her with the Woman of the Year award at the 2022 Billboard Women in Music.
